Control of legitimacy of use of military apartments



After years of abuse and illegal use of housing and business facilities, in early January this year, Minister of Defence formed the Workgroup for establishing the legitimacy of managing publicly owned real estate used by MoD and SAF.

In just four months, the Workgroup has checked the basis of use of 216 apartments, adapted and business facilities in several cities in Serbia. The returned apartments will be given to the Housing Fund that will give it to MoD and SAF members in a standard procedure.

The Workgroup continues the control of the legitimacy of use of apartments, business facilities, garages and sites in order to take over all the property used with no legal grounding or not for the proper purpose, and use them accordingly to the law.
