Minister Gasic congraulates the participants of the Parade of Victors in Moscow



I congratulate you on worthy representation of the Republic of Serbia and the Serbian Armed Forces at the Parade of Victors in Moscow, on the occasion of the Victory Day and 70 years since the end of WWII.

Your ceremonial march in the line of victors on Red Square, before the eyes of the entire world, made Serbia proud, and every our citizen and every member of our military. You have shown that you are worthy descendants of the Serbian warriors from the glorious battles for freedom and honour of the fatherland and the heroes that, together with the Red Army, brought freedom at the end of WWII.

The Guard of the Serbian Armed Forces is an elite unit that symbolizes the strength of our entire Army and the commitment of all members to defend Serbia with all their heart and knowledge, protecting it and building a better future for future generations.

You are our clear and open message that we firmly defend the values we share with liberative and democratic nations of the world. The Serbian Armed Forces is a part of forces for peace, stability and progress, at home, in the region, in Europe and in the world. This mission comes from our liberation tradition. We continue it today as our choice and investment – for Serbia of tomorrow that will be a better place to live for our future generations.

Remember and be proud of your participation in the Parade of Victors. I congratulate you for being the most beautiful face of Serbia on the great Victory Day, 9th May.
