Minister of Defence congratulates the Day of the Serbian Armed Forces



In preservation of national identity and continuity of statehood of the Serbian people, 23rd April is of great importance. We celebrate it as the most important military holiday in the memory of the Takovo Uprising and setting of the foundations of modern Serbia.

You have proven many times how much you love your country. Keep helping the citizens and creating conditions for a better future. Continue conducting your assigned tasks professionally. Honour the traditional and implement new values, in the way that all modern armed forces in Europe do. Only then will the Serbian Armed Forces confirm the noted results it has achieved in building, development, training, and improving capabilities of our units.

Certain that you will continue conducting assigned tasks professionally and confirm that you are an active factor of security in the country and the region, I congratulate you on the Day of the Serbian Armed Forces.
