Congratulations of the President of the Republic on the Day of the Serbian Armed Forces




I congratulate to all members of the Serbian Armed Forces on 23rd April – Day of the Serbian Armed Forces.

The historical and traditional bond in creation and construction of the modern Serbian state and its Armed Forces are the confirmation of new values. In Serbian history, this day has a special importance and it is a lasting source of inspiration for the Serbian people and its military.

In the year when we mark two centuries since the Takovo Uprising and the Armed Forces jubilee, SAF members give full support to strengthening peace, security and stabilization in the region, and to full accession of our state in the Euro integrations. In the past period, they have conducted all assigned tasks, highly contributing to the prosperity of our state and its citizens.

Certain that the Serbian Armed Forces will continue on the path of started reforms and modernization of military organization, and that it will be ready to professionally respond to all upcoming challenges, I congratulate you on your jubilee.
