The Ministry of National Defense of the People's Republic of China has sent an official invitation to the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces for participation in the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the victory over fascism in WWII, an occasion for which a military parade will be held in Beijing on 3rd September 2015.

The invitation for SAF representatives was issued in regards with our contribution to the victory in WWII, and the traditionally good relations between the two countries and the two armed forces. The Chinese side appreciates the attention the Republic of Serbia dedicated to improving the old and establishing new partnerships in the West and in the East alike, especially with the states that are its strategic partners, which is particularly true for the People’s Republic of China, which is also one of the four pillars of the foreign policy of the Republic of Serbia.

The Chinese side has shown solidarity with our people and military on several occasions, having allocated significant material means in the form of numerous donations for the needs of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces, including the aid after the disastrous floods in our country and the region last year.

The Republic of Serbia is proud of its great contribution to the defeat of the Axis powers during the WWII, and is actively dedicated to fostering traditions of the battle against fascism.
