Musical stage performance "The Bush" on the occasion of the SAF jubilee

On the occasion of the celebration of the Day of the Armed Forces of Serbia – April 23, today, at the Congress Hall of the Guard House, a one-hour musical stage performance “The Bush” was given by Cultural Art Association ‘Sumadija” from Gornji Milanovac.

The first in he line of activities for celebration of the jubilee and marking of 200 years since Takovo Uprising was organized by the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Serbia, in cooperation with the Association of Warriors' Descendants from Serbia 1912-1920.

Tonight’s manifestation was attended by Secretary of State at the Ministry of Defence Zoran Djordjevic, Head of the General Staff of Serbia General Ljubisa Dikovic, Acting Assistant of the Minister of Defence for Human Resources Milos Jankovic, representatives of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Serbia,and representatives of the Association.

Members of “Sumadija” performed songs and dances accompanied by orchestra – songs and dances Kacera, Carevac, Sljivik, songs and dances Levca, Fair in Takovo, songs of Sumadija, songs and dances from Rudnik, and others.

At the end of the manifestation, Djordjevic handed over the Plaque of the Ministry of Defence to President of the Association Ljubomir Markovic for successful cooperation, and Letter of Thanks of the Ministry of Defence to President of “Sumadija” Aleksandar Tulovic for successful realization of activities on the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces of Serbia.
