Гашић и Пинтер задовољни сарадњом Србије и Мађарске у области одбранеMinister Gasic said that the high percentage of realized activities from the Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan for 2014, and the fact that the Plan for 2015 contains twice as many activities, puts Hungary in the top spot among countries from the region when it comes to the scope and quality of cooperation in the field of defence. Gasic assessed that joint deployment in the multinational operation in Cyprus and years of tradition of conducting joint military exercises (Iron Cat and Neighbors) give the cooperation a particular quality and actively contribute to improvement of good neighborly relations.

They also discussed cooperation between the air forces of the two countries and training of Hungarian pilots in Serbia, Serbia’s chairing over OSCE, deployment of members of the Hungarian contingent in KFOR, and the importance of Hungary’s support for Serbia’s Euro integration process.
