Minister Gasic visited Prva Petoletka in Trstenik

Minister of Defence Bratislav Gasic visited today the company PPT – Namenska in Trstenik on the occasion of it 66th anniversary. During the jubilee marking ceremony, Minister Gasic stated that PPT-Namenska offers crucial backing to other defence companies that rely on it.

- The Serbian Government and the Ministry of Defence will strive to help you achieve even better results and business. This help will involve securing investments for modernization of equipment in order for you to be competitive in the world market, increase productivity and maintain the present high level of quality - Minister of Defence stated.

After the ceremony, Minister with his associates and PTT managers toured the factory's production capacities.

Andjelka Atanaskovic, PTT Director General, stressed that this was the first time a defence minister visited the factory on the day of its jubilee.

- This is a good message to us that we are not forgotten. With our hard work, we have shown that we work well and manage with a little support from the state. During the tour, Minister learned firsthand that the procurement of equipment and machines is necessary, and I hope that help will all be realized soon. The message of the today’s visit is – you have done well, keep up the good work – Director General said.
