Minister of Defence congratulates the Day of the Military Academy



Celebrating the day when Price Alexander Karadjordjevic approved the Project of Establishment of the Artillery School in 1850, we are marking an event that was the beginning of education of officer staff of all military arms of the Serbian Army of the time. Today, 165 years later, the Military Academy is recognized as a modern scientific institution, where, aside from our members, officer staff from other countries is trained as well.

You have achieved notable success in the field of military education. We continue striving towards even better results in spite of numerous obstacles and obligations. Military education will be further improved in the next period as well, in accordance with the defence system reform, military doctrine, changes in national security strategy and modernization of the Armed Forces of Serbia.

Wishing you to continue conducting all assigned tasks and obligations in future as well and to continue contributing to an even more successful development of the Armed Forces of Serbia with your results in educational process and scientific researches, I congratulate you on your holiday, March 18 – Day of the Military Academy.
