Gasic awarded with the Memorial Medal of Serbian Warriors



Гашићу уручена Спомен медаља српских ратникаThe delegation of the Club of Generals and Admirals of Serbia awarded Minister of Defence Bratislav Gasic with the Memorial Medal of Serbian Warriors 1914-1918.

The medal has been awarded to Minister Gasic for his personal contribution to fostering tradition of liberation wars of Serbia and marking of the centenary of the Great War.

The Memorial Medal of Serbian Warriors 1914-1918 had been established on the occasion of marking the centenary of the Great War by the provision of the Assembly of the Club of Generals and Admirals of Serbia. The medal is a replica of an original memorial of participants of liberation and unification wars 1914-1918 that had been given to members of the Serbian Army that took part in the Great War.

The medal has also been awarded to Head of the Cabinet of the Minister of Defence Brigadier General Sinisa Radovic.
