Training for drivers of the Petroleum Industry of Serbia
In the framework of cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and the Petroleum Industry of Serbia, at the training ground "Beranovac" near Kraljevo, members of the training battalion of the movement and transportation service of the Logistics Training Centre are conducting training in driving light off-road motor vehicles, in different conditions, for the needs of that company.The training is realised according to the curricula of the Serbian Armed Forces, which are aligned with the needs of "Naftagas – Transport", and will be conducted from February to November this year, in the training ranges and in the barracks of the Serbian Armed Forces, as well as in the places where the vehicles of "Naftagas - Transport ".are located.
The training will be realised through six basic courses and includes theoretical and practical training. In the theoretical part, students are introduced to the specifics of off-road vehicles, the influence of operating conditions on driving, control devices in the vehicle, a device for increasing mobility and the use of winter equipment. In the practical part, the participants, among the other things, had to overcome 23 different obstacles in the field test site and to overcome 2196 meters long off-road track which mainly stretches in the wooded section of the training area without asphalt surface.
Training of personnel of the company "NIS" A.D. Novi Sad - "Naftagas - Transport" Ltd., in the field of traffic safety, is conducted on the basis of the Agreement between the Ministry of Defence and the Petroleum Industry of Serbia.
