Marking the Statehood Day of the Republic of Serbia



In the course of marking the Statehood Day, President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic laid wreaths at the Monument to the Unknown Hero on Avala, with highest state and military honors. He was accompanied by Minister of Defence Bratislav Gasic and Head of the General Staff of Serbia General Ljubisa Dikovic.

After the laying of the wreaths, President Tomislav Nikolic wrote in the Memorial Book: “If we all raised our and the children of others in the spirit of your legacy, we would create Serbia that would make our ancestors proud; an advanced Serbia, whose every citizen would build and defend it”.
