Improving military medical cooperation with Iran
Secretary of State at the Ministry of Defence Zoran Djordjevic spoke with Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran Majid Fahim Pour about improvement of cooperation in the field of defence.Djordjevic and Fahim Pour agreed that the friendly relations between the two countries are a good foundation for development of bilateral military cooperation. Military medicine is a field where cooperation is currently particularly being developed, through exchange of experiences, courses and seminars, training and medical specialization at the Military Medical Academy.
The Secretary of State thanked the ambassador of Iran for the donations for flood relief, and for the principled attitude and defence of the international law in preservation of territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia.
Djordjevic conveyed his belief that the negotiations about resolution of Iranian nuclear program will be successful and stressed that Serbia, during its chairing over OSCE, will always insist on the necessity of resolving issues through agreement and mutual understanding.
