Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan with the Netherlands signed



Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan between the Ministries of Defence of the Republic of Serbia and the Kingdom of the Netherlands for 2015 was signed in Belgrade by Head of International Military Cooperation department Colonel Milan Konjikovac and Defence Attaché of the Kingdom of Netherlands Lieutenant Colonel Robbert Verbrugh.

Потписан План билатералне војне сарадње са ХоландијомAnalyzing cooperation in the field of defence in the past year, both sides stated that cooperation was good even with limited budgetary means, but that the room for its qualitative and quantitative improvement should be used, to mutual interest.

Colonel Konjikovac stressed the importance of cooperation with the Kingdom of the Netherlands for the support for the reformative course and accession of the Republic of Serbia to the European integrations. He stressed the necessity of finding new modalities of cooperation, considering the fact that the support of the Kingdom of the Netherlands for project “Noncommissioned officer” ended last year, as well as the organization and realization of courses Law of Armed Conflict (LOAC), and its support in realization of Program of English Language Teaching (PELT) and Regional Course on civilian-military relations and civilian-military cooperation will end this year.

Lieutenant Colonel Verbrugh congratulated the Republic of Serbia on its chairing over OSCE and stressed its leadership role in the region when it comes to deployment in multinational operations. He expressed his belief that cooperation will continue being realized through main fields of cooperation.
