Section of military psychologists at the Psychological Association of Serbia founded



At the session of the Executive Board of the Psychological Association of Serbia, the Section of military psychologists has been formed, which will contribute to the affirmation of work of military psychologists in technical public and their more active participation in the work of the Psychological Association of Serbia. The founding session was attended by over 50 psychologists from the defence system that supported the foundation of the section and suggested future members of the Executive Board.

One of the first activities of the newly formed section will be the devising of the Working Plan and Program of the Section of military psychologists in 2015, and the preparation for participation in the annual scientific technical conference “Council of psychologists”, whose theme: “Professionalization” is very current in military organization.

The Department for development of psychological activities also initiated and, in cooperation with the Public Relations Department, published the official web presentation of military psychologists at www.psiholog.mod.gov.rs with the goal of work affirmation, popularization of military psychological topics and military profession in the national public.
