Developing cooperation with Spain
Secretary of State at the Ministry of Defence Zoran Djordjevic met with Inigo Ramirez de Haro, charge d'affaires at the Spanish Embassy in Belgrade.
During the meeting, Djordjevic and De Haro agreed that the field of defence is an example of good cooperation between the two countries, having in mind the joint deployment of Serbia and Spain in UNIFIL mission in Lebanon, where greater deployment of SAF members is planned.
Secretary of State Djordjevic stated he immensely appreciates the principled attitude of Spain in relation to the issue of Kosovo and Metohija, because this country is strict in following the principles of the international law. He also thanked for the help the Spanish Government had sent Serbia for areas afflicted by the disastrous floods.
The two interlocutors stated that the overall good bilateral cooperation between the two countries needs to be developed through various forms of economic cooperation as well.
