Minister of Defence congratulates the Day of the Air Force and Air Defence



I am proud to say that members of the Air Force and Air Defence have achieved excellent results in training and developing capabilities, in rather tough working conditions. Another reason to be proud is the fact that, side by side with your colleagues from other military service, you have always stood by your people. This is also confirmed by your engagement prior to and after the floods.

There are many commitments and tasks ahead of you in the future as well. I am certain that you will solve them successfully as well, as the pioneers of Serbian Air Force did. Following their vision, over a century ago, they too enabled Serbia to become one of the fifteen countries with an air force.

Assured that you will maintain the highest level in conducting assigned tasks and that we will successfully finish the process of modernization of the Serbian Air Force, I congratulate you on December 24 – Day of service.
