State Secretary Djordjevic received Admiral Samardzic
State Secretary Zoran Djordjevic met with Head of the General Staff of Montenegro Admiral Dragan Samardzic at the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia.State Secretary Djordjevic and Admiral Samardzic discussed the present cooperation in the field of defence and thanked for the help Montenegro sent to Serbia during the disastrous floods in May this year.
Montenegro and Serbia jointly participate in several important regional initiatives, such as the South-East European Cooperation Process, Regional Cooperation Council, Central European Initiative and the Adriatic-Ionian Initiative.
Relations between the two countries are on a rising course, and the interlocutors agreed that there is a mutual support in the process of European integrations, and an interest for further strengthening of economic relations.Admiral Samardzic has paid the official visit to the Republic of Serbia, during which he spoke with Head of the General Staff of Serbia General Ljubisa Dikovic yesterday.
