Meeting of Head of the General Staff of Serbia and KFOR Commander



Head of the General Staff of Serbia General Ljubisa Dikovic met today in Nis with KFOR Commander Major General Francesco Paolo Figliuolo.

This was the first official meeting of the two generals since General Figliuolo was appointed KFOR Commander in September this year.

Generals Dikovic and Figliuolo discussed the current security situation in Kosovo and Metohija and along the administrative line, present cooperation between the Armed Forces of Serbia and KFOR, and about directions of future cooperation.

This was a high-level meeting of the Joint Commission for conducting the Military Technical Agreement. This Commission is comprised of the KFOR Command Commission and the Commission of the representatives of Armed Forces of the Republic of Serbia. Joint meetings have been regularly held on different levels since 1999.
