A visit from NATO delegation to the Military Technical Institute
NATO delegation, headed by NATO Assistant Secretary General for Defence Investment Patrick Auroy visited today the Military Technical Institute where they were received by Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence Zoran Djordjevic, Head of the Defence Technology Department Major General Bojan Zrnic and MTI Director Colonel Zoran Rajic.Welcoming the guests, State Secretary Djordjevic conveyed his content that the cooperation between the Ministry of Defence and NATO has been intensified in the last two years, stressing that this has primarily been achieved through Serbia’s involvement in the work of the Conference of National Armaments Directors and its bodies and workgroups.
He stressed that the Ministry of Defence intends tomaintain the cooperation with NATO in the field of defence technology at the present level, with the tendency to raise it to a higher level in certain segments.After the talks, the delegation was informed on development capacities of MTI, with special emphasis on the T-38 trisonic wind tunnel and the laboratory for dynamic testing of solidity. MTI experts also presented the HIL laboratory to the delegation, and the laboratories for testing of metal materials, textile, leather and footwear.
