Cooperation with France in the field of defence
The fourth annual meeting of representatives of General Direction for Arms (DGA) of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of France and the Sector for Material Resources of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia was held at the Sector for Material Resources in organization by the Defence Technology Department.
The host of the visit was Major General Bojan Zrnic, Head of thedefence Technology Department, and the meeting was also attended by MoD and SAF representatives, representatives of Public Company Jugoimport SDPR. The three-member French delegation was headed by Colonel Daniel Tencic, Deputy Director for Europe and South America of the General Direction for Arms of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of France.Aside from presentation of results in the realization of projects of development of arms and military equipment in Serbia, they analyzed military economic and military technical cooperation of the two ministries and the arranged activities in these fields for the next year, when, in accordance with the established dynamics, the next meeting will be hosted by the French side.
The French delegation visited Prva Iskra – Special Purpose Factory in Baric, where they were informed on capacities of this company, and the Technical Test Center, when they exchanged practices in the field of testing complex NVO systems.
