Meeting of the Serbia – NATO Defence Reform Group
Today, a meeting of the Serbia – NATO Defence Reform Group (DRG) was held at the Ministry of Defence. The meeting was attended by representatives of 22 countries, members of the EU, NATO and the Partnership for peace, and representatives of the NATO Military Liaison Office in Belgrade. NATO delegation was headed by Frank Boland.
During the meeting, discussions included the level of achieved partnership goals and participation of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Serbia in realization of projects that secure stability of the defence system and contribute to maintaining and building capabilities and capacities of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Serbia for conducting business in accordance with its fields of authority, and sustaining and development of operative and functional capabilities of the Armed Forces of Serbia for conducting assigned missions and tasks.
