Eight session of the Mixed Serbian-Egyptian Military Committee
At the Ministry of Defence, the Eight Session of the Serbian-Egyptian Mixt Military Committee was held. The meeting was headed by Colonel Zoran Patic, Head of the Sector at the Department for Defence Technologies at the Material Resources Sector and Brigadier General Sherif Mahmoud Shokry Attiа, Head of the Department of Acquisition and Procurement of Arms and Military Equipment.During the meeting, the Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan was agreed upon and signed by the Ministries of Defence of Serbia and the Arab Republic of Egypt. They have also agreed on the draft of the Memorandum of Understanding between the republic of Serbia, represented by the Ministry of Defence and the Arab Republic of Egypt, represented by the Ministry of Defence of Egypt.
It has been planned that the Memorandum of Understanding is to be signed next year, during the meeting of the two Defence Ministers. Both sides conveyed interest in improving and intensifying cooperation in the field of defence.
Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Belgrade Menha Mahrous Bakhoum also attended the plenary meeting of the Mixed Military Committee.
