Improving cooperation in the field of defence with Poland
State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence Zoran Djordjevic met with Head of the General Staff of the Republic of Poland General Mieczyslaw Gocul.During the meeting, they discussed possibilities for further improvement of cooperation in the field of defence, which is primarily conditioned by overall good relations of the two countries. State Secretary Djordjevic pointed out that the main priorities of the cooperation of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Serbia with the European Union are deployment in EU crisis management operations, development of joint projects with the European Defence Agency and improvement of administrative capacities for more active cooperation within the Common Security and Defence Policy.
State Secretary Djordjevic thanked for the support that Poland gives Serbia in the field of European integrations and for their help they had sent to the Serbian people during the floods in May.
