Cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office of the International Criminal Tribunal



State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence met with Chief of the Operative Team of the Prosecutor’s Office of the International Criminal Tribunal Robert Reid.

During the meeting, they analyzed the present realization of the request for help to the Prosecutor’s Office from the Ministry of Defence, where both sides expressed their content with the level of cooperation. It has been stated that there are no open issues in this field and that the Ministry of Defence professionally fulfills its commitments.

It has been assessed that the achieved level of cooperation should be maintained – the one with the International Criminal Tribunal and the one with the Residual Mechanism which is the legal heir of the Hague Tribunal.

The meeting was held upon the suggestion of Chief Prosecutor Serge Brammertz, prior to the submission of the regular report to the UN Security Council about cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Hague Tribunal.
