Developing cooperation with China



In the course of his five-day visit to China, Minister of Defence Bratislav Gasic visited the Zhongxing Telecommunication Equipment Corporation, with which he signed a Memorandum on Cooperation on behalf of the Ministry of Defence.

A significant contribution to development of cooperation in the field of defence industry is also provided by the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Jugoimport SDPR Company and China Poly Group Corporation. Signing of the aforementioned agreements, aside from raising the military cooperation to a higher level, also creates a formal legal frame for intensification of the overall cooperation between the two countries.

The Agreement on Military Donation and the Memorandum of Cooperation between two defence Universities have been previously signed, and the delegation of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Serbia will also take part in the Fifth Xiangshan Forum in Beijing. Minister Gasic will be one of the speakers at this scientific conference dedicated to security challenges.
