Reception at the President of Serbia



President of the Republic of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic spoke today in Belgrade with Head of the General Staff of Serbia General Ljubisa Dikovic and members of the extended Collegium.

President commended all members of the parade held on October 16, 2014 and especially thanked the commanders for the successful organization and realization of the parade. The unity of the people and the military has been displayed, and the high level of trust the citizens have for members of the Armed Forces of Serbia.

During the meeting, some of the discussed topics were the situation within the Armed Forces of Serbia, the education system, peacekeeping operations and the upcoming military exercises.

Serbia has shown a high level of professionalism and training in numerous peacekeeping operations across the world, and SAF members have set high standards in actions of peacekeeping operations.
