State Secretary Djordjevic met with the Head of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ghana



State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia Zoran Djordjevic received Head of the General Staff of the Republic of Ghana Vice Admiral Mathew Quashie.

Djordjevic pointed out the necessity of signing the Agreement on Cooperation in the field of defence between Serbia and Ghana, which would create the legal frame for establishment and further development of cooperation in all fields of mutual interest. Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia intends to answer to all the needs and requests of Ghana, accordingly to its available resources.

General Quashie thanked for the reception and hospitability and stressed the importance of establishing cooperation in the field of defence, particularly in the field of military economic and military educational cooperation. He stated that the defence industry of the Republic of Serbia provides good-quality products and conveyed his interest in equipping the Armed Forces of the Republic of Ghana with arms and military equipment from Serbia.
