Improving military economic cooperation with Macedonia
Minister of Defence Bratislav Gasic and Deputy Minister of Economics of Macedonia Hristijan Delev discussed concretization of cooperation that had been mentioned during the meeting with Macedonian Minister of Defence Zoran Jolevski. In the field of military economic and military technical cooperation, a possibility has been implied of reparation of Macedonian military helicopters and tanks in Serbia, and joint participation in third markets. Gasic and Delev have also discussed possibilities of using the Krivolak shooting ground in Macedonia for testing Serbian artillery arms of large range, and the capacities of TRZ Kragujevac for delaboration of Macedonian surplus weapon loads.
Minister Gasic thanked once again for the help that Macedonia had provided for Serbia during the floods in May, stressing the necessity of cooperation between states of the region in the field of emergency situations.
