Minister of Defence received Mayor of Thessaloniki



Minister of Defence Bratislav Gasic received Mayor of Thessaloniki Yiannis Boutaris and, on behalf of the Delegation of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Serbia, thanked him for the heartfelt welcome during his recent visit to Greece.

Delegation of the Republic of Serbia visited Greece last month, when it participated in the marking of the anniversary of the landing of the Serbian Army in Corfu and Vido Islands, and marking of the centenary of the beginning of the Great War, when the friendship between the two countries was once again confirmed.

Minister Gasic thanked for the utmost care about Serbian monuments in this country and expressed hope that Belgrade and Thessaloniki will find ways to improve their cooperation even more in the future period.
