President of the Republic of Serbia graded the military parade



ASSESSMENT OF THE PARADE

On the occasion of the military parade “March of the Victorious” which has left an everlasting and unforgettable stamp to the marking of the two grand jubilees – 100 years since the beginning of the Great War and 70 years since the liberation of Belgrade in the Second World War – I wish to publicly announce my assessment of this glorious event to the members of the Armed Forces of Serbia.

To the joy of all citizens of the Republic of Serbia, you have shown that Serbia has a powerful, dedicated and modern military, whose troops are strong, determined and loyal to their country.

I saw in your faces that the heavy rain was just another incentive for you to present the Armed Forces of Serbia in the best possible way to your people and the entire world.

The thundering sound of the motorized and airborne forces, salutes from the River Flotilla and synchronized thump of the marching feet of the infantry filled our hearts with pride and admiration. You have shown through your work why the people trust the military the most.

I grade the parade with the highest military grade: “excellent”.

Proud of the Armed Forces of Serbia, I commend all the members of the Armed Forces of Serbia who in any way participated in the parade and contributed with their work in conducting this significant event at the highest level.

As president of the Republic of Serbia, I will do everything to ensure that the Serbian Armed Forces continue their modernization and fast increase in operational capabilities, so it would be an even stronger factor of peace and security in the Balkans and beyond, and so the Serbian soldier can keep the place in our society he has been entitled to for centuries.

By giving the military parade the highest grade, I wish that you remain a pillar of the Republic of Serbia and a guarantee of safety for all our citizens.

I order that the parade evaluation be read to all the units that took part in the parade.
