State Secretary Djordjevic met with the Ambassador of Angola



State Secretary Zoran Djordjevic and Ambassador of Angola in Belgrade Toko Diakenga Serao agreed that relations between Serbia and Angola are traditionally good and are a great basis for developing and intensifying future bilateral relations.

Djordjevic stressed that Angola is one of strategic partners of Serbia in Africa and that Serbia has special appreciation for the principled support in preserving territorial integrity and sovereignty. He conveyed gratitude to the Ambassador of Angola for his personal contribution to development of relations between the two countries and stated that future cooperation should be continued through cooperation in in military economy, military medicine and military education.


- We were glad to hear that, along with 21 cadets that are already attending the Military Academy and 11 officers who ended their education in military educational institutions in our country this year, another 35 students from Angola will begin with their bachelor studies – State Secretary Djordjevic stated.


Djordjevic stated that the Ministry of Defence, on behalf of the Serbian Government, supports the presence of Serbian companies in the Republic of Angola, construction of a military hospital and pharmaceutical factory in Luanda and reconstruction of the Lubango Airport.
