Day of the Technical Overhauling Institution in Cacak marked
The Technical Overhauling Institution in Cacak marked its 89th anniversary today, and celebrated its Day of service. The ceremony was attended by Brigadier General Marinko Pavlovic, Kraljevo Garrison Commander, Colonel Vladeta Baltic, Assistant Army Command Support, Mayor of the City of Cacak Vojislav Ilic, Chief of Moravicki District Darko Domanovic and others. Addressing the guests, Director of TRZ Cacak Lieutenant Colonel Srdjan Petkovic reminded of the 89th anniversary of the institution’s work.
- On this day, the State Council of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes ordered construction of an engineering technical institution. Since September 30, until this day, the institution has changed its organization, status and capacities based on the needs and demands of the Military, but has never changed its basic activity – the highest level of maintaining arms and military equipment at the Armed Forces of Serbia – Colonel Petkovic said. He also reminded of the results that have been achieved in the past period.
On the occasion of the Day of the Institution, at the ceremony, a display of capabilities and equipment was organized and it was attended by pupils of the fifth grade of Elementary School “Milica Pavlovic” from Cacak.
