In the next days the Armed Forces will send more engineering machinery, and if the situation on the ground requires – additional manpower as well. - About three hundred members of the Serbian Armed Forces are helping municipalities Majdanpek and Kladovo today. Our members are engaged in Boletin and Kazan stream in Majdanpek and Tekija and Milutinovac in Kladovo Municipality. In Milutinovac, we are going to install a launch bridge of "Bailey" type as soon as conditions allow. We hope that we will be able to accomplish the task as soon as possible, Commander of the Engineering Working Group Lieutenant Colonel Dragan Milenko said.

After torrential floods in settlements of Oreskovica and Boljetin, at the invitation of the Emergency Staff of Majdanpek, the Serbian Armed Forces redirected the forces engaged in the rehabilitation of Kazan stream to Boljetin as early as on 15 September. The unit managed to get through to settlement, cleared the bed of the Boljetinska River, which accelerated the flow and prevented further growth of water. After that, the unit evacuated children from the elementary school and transported them to Donji Milanovac, and the next day they rehabilitated the access road to the village, enabling the supply of the population with water, food and medicines.
