Minister of Defence congratulates holidays to members of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces



On the occasion of the Artillery Day, Security Service Day, Military Police Day and Day of Quartermaster Service, Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic extended his wishes to the members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces.

Congratulations on the occasion of the Artillery Day

Cherishing the tradition of artillerymen and preserving the memory of the heroes of the Salonika front, in the year marking the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War, you are celebrating your day with high level of operational capabilities. Thus you affirm your arms, but also the Army and the Serbian Armed Forces.

I am confident that you will continue to responsibly perform your tasks also in the future, that you will work on professional training of the unit and that your almost hundred-year-old experience will be a reason for our pride.

Wishing you to continue being the driving force of applying new work models imposed by contemporary military challenges, I congratulate you on your holiday, and once again pay tribute to the your accomplishments.

Congratulations on the occasion of the Security Service Day

Six decades of work, and many temptations to which you were exposed, made you an exemplary service. Your professional approach has confirmed your capability and capacity for the successful accomplishment of tasks from your competence.

I am confident that these results will continue to be your driving force also in the forthcoming period and that you will be committed to improving the reputation of the Serbian Armed Forces.

I congratulate you on holiday wishing you to continue securing the stability of the defence system and Serbia in whose interest we all work.

Congratulations on the occasion of the Military Police Day

In difficult conditions with your expertise, professional and responsible attitude towards work and maximum engagement, you have managed to respond to all the tasks and contribute to preserving and strengthening the operational capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces.

Your priority should remain to be maintaining the level of training units, professional realisation of the assigned tasks and the responsible work on fighting crime, controlling and maintaining order and discipline, and securing the most important military facilities, regulating and controlling military road traffic and counter-terrorism.

I congratulate you on your holiday and pay tribute to your accomplishments in the previous period.

Congratulations on the occasion of the Quartermaster Service Day

Quartermaster support has always been one of the most important factors in building the operational capabilities of the Armed Forces and the service that has created life and working conditions for commands and units. Continuing the tradition of the Main Quartermaster and Administration of the Supreme Headquarters, you contribute with your work to the functioning of the Serbian Armed Forces in challenging conditions and circumstances.

Logistical support is extremely important for good functioning of the military, and so is transferring of the acquired knowledge and experiences to new generations. There are new tasks in front of you and I am sure that you will execute them successfully. I wish you a happy holiday.
