Delegation of Cameroon visited the Ministry of Defence
State Secretary of the Ministry of Defence Zoran Djordjevic received the delegation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Cameroon, headed by Head of the General Staff Army General Meka Rene Claude.The subject of the meeting was improving military cooperation which has been mostly limited to military economic fields in the past period. Therefore, State Secretary Djordjevic stressed that “signing the Agreement on Cooperation in the field of defence would create a legal frame for cooperation in all fields of mutual interest, especially having in mind that the bilateral relations of the two countries are friendly.”
State Secretary introduced the Cameroon delegation with the present engagement of the Armed Forces of Serbia in multinational operations of the UN and EU, and with the recently made decision on participating in the peacekeeping and military operation in the Central African Republic.
