Communication
Based on a joint lawsuit of the Military Police and Military Security Agency, on August 25, retired Colonel G. S, retired battleship Captain D. K. and retired military employee at the Ministry of Defence M. M. were deprived of liberty and transferred to Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade.
Retired Colonel G. S, retired battleship Captain D. K. are under suspicion of committing the criminal offense of abuse of office connected to the procurement of a three-dimensional ballistic radar for the needs of Center for arms and military equipment research in Nikinci in the period from 2010 to 2011, by which they acquired financial gain for the radar’s manufacturer “Wiebel Scientific” and its commission agency “Beаtronic supply”, and caused property damage to the Ministry of Defence in the amount of 4.45 million euros.
Retired military employee M. M. is under suspicion of committing the criminal act of unconscionable conduct in service, by which she enabled payments from the account of the Ministry of Defence for the procured radar, without complete documentation and qualitative reception.
The judge set custody for the previous case of the Higher Court in Belgrade for G. S, while D. K. and M. M. were released pending trial.
