Seminar on the work of Personnel Service
Today, at the House of Guards in Topcider, in organization of the Human Resources Department of the Ministry of Defence, a Seminar on human resources started. The seminar was opened by Assistant Minister for Human Resources Milos Jankovic, and the introductory speech was given by Head of the Personal Department Brigadier General Dragoslav Lackovic. - People’s potentials are the most important resource that calls for the most attention and interest. That is why we, as a system, are constantly working on creating conditions for maintaining sustainable staff structure, development, education and advancement of staff in accordance with the needs, defined missions and tasks of the Armed Forces of Serbia – General Lackovic said, adding that the basis of the new policy on managing human resources should be such that it is person-centered – with all their capabilities, merits and flaws, resources, motives, achievements and competencies.
The seminar is attended by 68 members of organizational units of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Serbia, members of the Personnel Service, and lectures will be held by representatives of the Personal Department and Development Department of Psychological Services at the Human Resources Sector.The seminar will last two days, and it has been planned, with interactive engagement of all visitors, to discuss the most current topics and adjust standpoints on practical use of the new legislative regulation of great significance for this area.
