The last concert of the Serban and Greek military orchestras held
Tonight, after Belgrade and Novi Sad, the art Ensemble of the Ministry of Defence “Stanislav Binicki” and the Brass orchestra of the Greek Army held a joint concert in Nis. In the beautiful ambient of the summer stage at the Nis Fortress, the concert was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Serbia and numerous citizens of Nis.The military orchestras of the two friendly countries performed an appealing musical program, consisting of popular jazz, evergreen and ethno numbers. Citizens of Nis were particularly thrilled with the part of the program where military musicians of Serbia and Greece jointly performed the popular and well-known melodies.
The concert in Nis, as well as the concerts in Belgrade and Novi Sad, was realized as a part of marking the centenary of the beginning of the Great War and the tradition of nurturing the friendship between the people of Serbia and Greece.
