Cooperation with Austria in the field of logistics
At the Material Resources Sector at the Ministry of Defence, yesterday and today, expert talks on managing surplus weapons and military equipment and procedures for improving the status of the surplus means are being held with representatives of the Ministry of Defence and Sport of the Republic of Austria.The goal of these expert talks that deal with managing service life of military weapons and equipment, and in broader context with managing defence resources, is to exchange experiences in normative system in the said field and conducting practical steps in managing surplus military equipment.
The delegation of the Ministry of Defence of Austria is headed by Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Mader, and, aside from the representative of the Defence Technology Department of the Material Resources Sector at the Ministry of Defence, who is the organizer, the activity also includes representatives of the Supply Department of the Ministry of Defence and Logistics department (J-4) and Department for Planning and Development (J-5) of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Serbia.
