Tank units of the Serbian Armed Forces arrived in Russia at the Tank Biathlon
Members of the Armed Forces of Serbia that will represent our country at the forthcoming Tank Biathlon in the Russian Federation, arrived today early in the morning to Moscow. After only several hours, our members of the tank units started with their preparations, first and foremost, with learning about Russian combat vehicles that will be used during the competition.At the training ground of the legendary Katamirov Division, our team conducted the introductory preparations today with their Angolan and Venezuelan colleagues. In the following days, five tank units of our Armed Forces will train intensively in order to reach the highest level of preparedness for the competition that begins on August 2.
At this year’s Tank Biathlon, at least 11 countries will participate, including the tank “super forces” such as China, India, and, of course, the host – Russia, which will certainly not make it easy for the Serbian tank units to score well at the competition that they are a part of for the first time. In the next few days, the final number of contestants will be confirmed.Colonel Zeljko Kuzmanovic, the leader of the Serbian team, stated that the moral of our men is at an enviable level, of which their foreign colleagues were assured today as well.
