Over 140,000 euros of aid for flood victims collected



Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic attended the humanitarian manifestation “Be Human”, held yesterday is a part of the Sea Dance Festival in Budva. Aside from high officials of Montenegro, the manifestation was attended by Serbian officials and representatives of the public and cultural life of the two countries.

On this occasion, Minister Gasic thanked the organizers of the EXIT Festival and representatives of the Government of Montenegro and the Municipality of Budva, who have collected over 140,000 euros of aid for the flooded areas in the region.

Gasic pointed out that cooperation between the Ministries of Defence of Serbia and Montenegro is very good, and expressed particular gratitude to members of special units of the Armed Forces of Montenegro, stressing that they were on duty in Obrenovac within the first hour and, together with members of the Armed Forces of Serbia, helped the citizens of this city.

The second humanitarian night organized by the EXIT Foundation EXIT AID Program for helping people affected by the disastrous floods in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia was realized in cooperation with the Municipality of Budva and Dukley Gardens, with the support of the Serbian Government and the Government of Montenegro.
