"Binicki" Ensemble at the Smederevo Festival
The Art Ensemble of the Ministry of Defence “Stanislav Binicki” performed on the last night of the “Teatar u Tvrdjavi” Festival, at the Culture Center Smederevo, which was held July 6-11.At the evening concert “Krece se Ladja Francuska”, together with the Ensemble, also performed: the Choir and Folklore Ensemble “Lola”, Merima Njegomir, Bilja Krstic and Bistrik, and Dragoljub Bajic, with conductors Vojkan Borisavljevic and Pavle Medakovic. The program was hosted by dramatic artists Nebojsa Dugalic and Marija Jovanovic, according to the script by Dragan Aleksic.
In the course of the program, many numbers were performed, some of which were “Krece se Ladja Francuska”, “Kraljevo Kolo”, “Ovo je Srbija”, The Serbian Waltz”, “Starogradski potpuri”, “Kako mladi smo mi bili”, Magla Padnala”, “Kaladzijsko Kolo”, “Igrale se Delije” and “March on the Drina”.
The new cultural manifestation “Teatar u Tvrdjavi” held at the summer stage at the Smederevo Small Town, has mostly consisted of program content oriented on the marking of the centenary of the beginning of the First World War.
