Ministar Gasic at the celebration of Vidovdan
On the occasion of the 625th anniversary of the Battle of Kosovo, President of the Republic of Serbia Tomislav 
Nikolic, Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic and Minister of the Interior Nebojsa Stefanovic laid wreaths at the Monument to Kosovo Heroes in Krusevac.Head of the General Staff of the SAF General Ljubisa Dikovic and Army Commander Lieutenant General Aleksandar Zivkovic accompanied the Minister of Defence.
Minister Gasic will continue his visit to Krusevac, visiting the Children’s Dispensary at the local hospital where he will give the donation of two inhalers, and visiting the members of the Armed Forces of Serbia who have been given apartments through the application of the Master Plan in the “Vlada Djuric” residential area.
Minister Gasic visited the Children’s Dispensary at the Krusevac Hospital where he gave the donation of two inhalers, provided by the “Labteh” Belgrade Company upon his personal request. According to the Minister, the donation should greatly alleviate the work of the Children’s Dispenser and had been promised during his term as the Mayor of Krusevac.

- We are not stopping there. Next week, we expect for two more ambulances to arrive, and my 
friends have promised we would receive another EKG machine for the children. We will work as promised, and we gradually return the old glow to the City of Krusevac – Gasic told the press.In the further course of his visit, Minister Gasic, accompanied by Head of the General Staff Ljubisa Dikovic and commanders of the operational level commands, visited two members of the Armed Forces of Serbia who have received apartments through implication of the Master Plan at the “Vlada Djuric” residential area. The Minister congratulated them on finally solving their residential issue after decades.
- At the beginning of this Government’s term, it has been said that awarding apartments to professional members of the Armed Forces of Serbia is one of priorities. We are not able to resolve the residential issue for everyone, as there are more than 20,000 applications, but we are working on giving 90 more apartments during this summer – Minister said, pointing out that he and the Head of the General Staff would strive to visit each of them.

ession of the City Assembly, Minister of 
Defence Bratislav Gasic has been awarded the Vidovdan Award for an exceptional contribution to the development of Krusevac. This most significant annual award, presented by the Assembly of the City of Krusevac on Vidovdan, was earned by Minister Gasic during his term of serving as the Mayor.
In his speech, Minister Gasic stated that this acknowledgement does not belong only to him, but also to the team with which he had governed the city during the previous two years.
- That team has done a lot to make Krusevac one of the most beautiful cities in Serbia, a city worth living in, worth fighting for, fit to raise one’s family in, school one’s children, a city where good children and good people live – Gasic said.
He has invited the present city’s authorities to continue the work he and his team had started. Minister said that he would give his award to the Serbian Orthodox Church and the “Sveti Car Lazar” choir, which performed several spiritual and traditional musical pieces on that occasion.
On the occasion of celebrating Vidovdan, the Assembly of the City of Krusevac awarded a commendation to the Krusevac Garrison for an exceptional cooperation in organization of various manifestations and participation in flood relief. The commendation was accepted by Garrison Commander Sinisa Kresovic.
