Minister Gasic at the Donation Conference in Moscow



Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic attended the Donation Conference in Moscow, where 298,000 euros and an ultrasound machine have been acquired for flood relief.

Defence Ministry of the Russian Federation has donated ten large pressure pumps, ten water tanks, and 250 50-liter water thermoses to Serbia.

After meeting with Russian businessmen, a donation of 100,000 euros to Kosjeric has been announced, as well as construction of 17 houses for Obrenovac, or purchases of furniture and inventory for all schools in this Belgrade municipality.

On behalf of the Government of Serbia, Minister Gasic thanked for their help to the citizens and authorities of Russia, and our citizens that are employed in that country.

Serbia’s Ambassador to Russia Slavenko Terzic also thanked everyone for showing solidarity with Serbia and collecting 53 tons of humanitarian aid.

The Donation Conference was also attended by Aleksandar Trosin, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of Russia Alexander Torshin, Deputy Defence Minister Anatoly Antonov, and representatives of large Russian companies, such as “Gazprom”, “Lukoil” and “Russian Railways”.
