Defence Minister received the Ambassador of Belarus
Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic and the Ambassador of Belarus Vladimir Cusev talked about improving cooperation in the field of defence. At the very beginning, Minister Gasic thanked for the help in flood relief, stressing that “Belarus swiftly came to our help, and the presence of Alexander Nikolayevich Goncharov, Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, represent the proof of the excellent relations and compassion of the Belarus people with the suffering of the Serbian people”.
Defence Minister and Ambassador Cusev agreed that the relations between the two countries are traditionally good and friendly, based on respect for the universally accepted norms of the international law, goals and principles of the United Nation. Another proof of that is the returning visit of President Alexander Lukashenko to the Republic of Serbia.
It has been concluded that, in the scope of such relations, there are realistic conditions for good-quality development of the bilateral cooperation on all levels.
