Foreign Military representatives at the Aeronautical Museum
In the organization of the International Military Cooperation Department of the Defence Policy Sector and the Air Defence Command, foreign military representatives accredited in the Republic of Serbia visited today the Aeronautical Museum in Surcin.The guests were welcomed by Head of the Yugoslav Aeronautical Museum Lieutenant Colonel Ivan Ukic and Acting Director of the Belgrade Aeronautical Museum Zoran Radojevic, after which they were shown the joint permanent exhibition, with expert guidance of curators.
During the tour through the entire century of the Serbian aeronautical history and tradition, what made a special impression on the delegation of the representatives were the variety of the displayed sailplanes and the richness of the Museum’s possessions.
Colonel Jiri Scepancik, Defence representative of the Republic of Poland, thanked the hosts for a well-organized visit and expressed his willingness for this kind of cooperation to be continued and enhanced in the future.
