Minister Gasic visiting the Military Academy
Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic visited today the Military Academy where representatives of military education institutions introduced him to the military education system within the Ministry of Defence.The meeting was attended by State Secretary of the Ministry of Defence Zoran Djordjevic, Assistant Defence Minister for Human Resources Milos Jankovic, rector of the Defence University Lieutenant General Miodrag Jevtic and Head of the Military Academy Major General Mladen Vuruna with associates.
Defence Minister was presented with possibilities, capacities and educational potentials of the Defence University, the Military Academy and the Military High School. Considering that today is the marking of two years after the accident at the mixed
shooting ground "Pasuljanske livade" when Milina Miletic and Filip Milojevic – two bachelor cadets were killed, Minister Gasic was particularly interested in ways of implementing measures and procedures of security and protection during realization of practical forms of education, and in ways of further training and qualification of cadets for their first officer duties.On the occasion of marking the anniversary of the cadets’ death, Military Academy representatives attended today commemorations for Milina and Filip in Gornji Milanovac and in Trnava village near Topola.
