Meeting of General Dikovic and General Eger, Commander of SEEBRIG
Head of the General Staff General Ljubisa Dikovic met today with Brigadier General Hakan Eser, Commander of the South-Eastern Europe Brigade (SEEBRIG) at “Banjica 2” barracks. Major General Slavoljub Janicijevic, Deputy Commander of the Joint Operation Command, also attended this bilateral meeting.During the meeting, General Dikovic briefed General Eser on the damages made during disastrous floods that had recently hit our country, and which the Armed Forces of Serbia are still actively repairing. By joint reaction, General Dikovic stressed, more severe consequences have been prevented, but the material damage is extremely grave.
During the talks, Generals Dikovic and Eser looked back on the SEDM Conference that had just been finished in Belgrade, expressing their content with the course and the organization of the conference, while General Eser stressed that it was an opportunity for him to brief the participants on the work of SEEBRIG.Participants of the today’s meeting also focused on different modalities for concrete deployment of the Joint Operation Command, with the goal of its more efficient action, and General Eser pointed out that SEEBRIG is always prepared for deployment and taking responsibility for certain assignments, with the agreement of the member states. General Dikovic also underlined the necessity of strengthening regional initiatives in the future.
