President of Belarus laid wreaths at the monument to the Unknown Hero
With state and military honors, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko laid wreaths at the monument to the Unknown Hero on Mt. Avala. President Lukashenko, who was greeted at Avala by General Ljubisa Dikovic, Head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Serbia, wrote the following into the Memorial Book:“On this day of remembrance, I pay my respects to all Serbian soldiers who gave their life for a free and a joyful life in Serbia, and for the prosperity and merit of the brotherly Serbian people.”
The laying of wreaths has marked the beginning of the official visit of President Lukashenko to our country.
